The 48-hour SLA
Refunds at KRATED are manual bank transfers — not Paystack card reversals. The 48-hour clock starts when we have your bank account details, and ends when we initiate the transfer to your account. Most customers see the credit the same day or next morning depending on the bank.
Why a bank transfer instead of a card reversal? Card reversals can sit in queue 5–7 business days. A bank transfer lands in hours. We pick the faster customer outcome.
Pre-trigger refunds (batch failed to fill)
If the batch you joined doesn't reach 100% fill within its review window, every order is refunded 100% — including duty, clearing share, and our margin. No questions, no deductions.
- The moment the batch is marked failed, we WhatsApp you and ask for your bank account details.
- You reply with bank name, account number, account name.
- We initiate a bank transfer within 48 hours of receiving those details.
- You get a WhatsApp confirmation with the transfer reference number.
Post-trigger refunds
Once a batch hits 100% and supplier orders are placed, the batch is in production. We can't pull your funds back from suppliers mid-production, so order-level refunds aren't available at this stage.
What we can do: swap your item for a different item of equal or lesser value still in the batch's catalog, before loading. Email us within 48 hours of the trigger event.
Damaged, wrong, or missing items
Hub-side QC happens before any pickup. If your goods arrive damaged (manufacturing defect, water damage, broken in transit), wrong (supplier sent the wrong variant), or missing — you get a full refund OR a replacement on the next applicable batch. Your choice.
You have 7 days from pickup to flag any issues. Bring the item back to the hub for inspection. Photo evidence helps but isn't required.
How to claim
- Message us on WhatsApp Business at +234 800 5728 33, or email refunds@krated.com.
- Include your order code (KR-…), batch code, and the reason.
- For damages, attach photos.
- We confirm within 24 hours and ask for your bank account details (bank, account number, account name).
- Once we have your details, we transfer within 48 hours and send you the reference.
